Abstract
carpathian_2008_24_1_115_121_abstractIn this paper, we provide an affirmative answer in the setting of fuzzy metric space to a question, “an existence of a contractive definition which generates a fixed point but does not force the mappings to be continuous at the fixed point”. Moreover, we generalize the results of [11] by replacing compatibility of type (a) with weak compatibility (or weakly compatible maps), i.e., common fixed-point theorems for six mapping which are not necessary continuous.
